Graphics & Wayfinding for British GP 50th Anniversary

As part of a signage contract with Silverstone Circuits Ltd, Principle were tasked with delivering wayfinding and signage for this year’s British Formula 1 Grand Prix; an event made even more significant as it was the 50th anniversary of the race being held at the venue.

The project was completed by the Principle team over a 3 week build period and included:

  • Branding for the 50th Grand Prix ParadePrint and install of all wayfinding signage for the entire circuit.
  • Santander branding to gantries and all entrance panels.
  • Principle were even asked to supply and fit replacement graphics to the damaged bumper of a Porsche on the Saturday evening, ready for the car to race on Sunday morning!

Approx. 300,000 attended the event to see GB racer Lewis Hamilton triumph - a fitting conclusion to the 50th celebrations!
